Action Circles Webinar: Fun Events to Build Your Base @ Webinar
Aug 29 @ 11:45 am – 12:30 pm

August 29th – Fun Events to Build Your Base
11:45am – 12:30pm

Fun Events are the first step in the Action Circles Model of Organizing. Fun Events are FUN and will help you find people who are interested in your issue and plug them into your campaign. Although these events require a fair amount of up front work, they pay off in a solid group of people who want to be involved in your work.
This workshop is best for people who are responsible for organizing people for a specific cause or group.

After this workshop, participants will know:

  • The key elements of an organizing event
  • How to create a workplan to get everything done on time
  • How to get people to come to the event
  • How to get people to sign up while at the event
  • How to design the event so people want to come back for another
  • How to get help to get it all done

ALIGN for Emerging Leaders @ Various locations
Sep 28 all-day

Join the Center for New Leadership at Marlboro Graduate School for ALIGN: Advanced Leadership Institute for Growing Nonprofits. ALIGN is a leadership program designed to help people working for the greater good. ALIGN participants will learn practical strategies to increase day-to-day success, grow as leaders, and thrive in their lives.

People working to make a positive difference in the world often feel like they are spread thin, not getting to spend the time on what they most love doing and not necessarily making the impact they know they can. To remain energized and effective on the front lines of positive community transformation, mission-driven leaders need the space, skills, and support to feed their spark.

“Not only do I feel better about every aspect of my life, but I am spending more time doing what I love.” – program participant.

This is a four month program including three in-person retreats.
