Can ethical dilemmas arise in planned giving? Yes, they surely can! We’ve assembled a panel of experienced gift planners who will draw from their careers to highlight how gifts are not always so simple. This will be an interactive session, so if you’ve had a donor situation or two that presented an ethical dilemma, feel free to share it! There will be lots of conversation and time to connect with your peers.

Cost: Free to members of the NH & VT Council of Charitable Gift Planners or $40 for non-members. Schedule: 1:45 p.m. Registration; 2:00-3:30 p.m. Program; and 3:30-4:00 p.m. Social Time

Panelists include Theresa Curry, J.D., Assistant Vice President of Gift Planning & Administration at UNH Foundation; David Ely, CFP, ChFC, a consultant with Sugar Hill Advisors; Cyndi Scott, Assistant Director of Gift Planning at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth; and Tom Smith, a private consultant in planned giving with over 40 years of planned giving experience, including fourteen years at The Vermont Community Foundation in Middlebury, VT.
